HomePod… It’s Here!
Back during WWDC 2017, Apple unveiled a new speaker for the home called: HomePod. This is Apple’s first take on the smart speaker space that has been heavily dominated by the likes of Amazon and Google. With the HomePod, Apple talked about the smartness of this speaker. This speaker has the ability to sense the room and location in that room it is in to delivery crisp sound.
Flu Epidemic? Yes… Be Careful
As many of you know, the flu this season is not friendly to the human race. Not that these flu’s usually are helpful to our bodies, but this particular flu virus is causing thousands of people to experience a cold and flu-like illnesses that may have never been felt before.
I recently just got over this flu. And let me tell you, this virus is not nice at all. I work from home, so contact with people outside of my house is rare. I went to a party for my stepfather’s birthday on a Sunday, then by mid-day Wednesday, I wasn’t feeling good. By Wednesday evening, I knew I was already sick. This virus stayed in my system for a good seven days. Most of my days I was in bed. I either was freezing or I was burning up. Most of the time, I would have a fever (my entire head just burning up) and the rest of my body would be ice cold. On the third day of bed rest and drinking lots of water, I finally decided to head to the hospital.
Glimpse Into My Life… Pt. 22
Around Thanksgiving in 2017, I started to notice something was a tad bit off with the vision from my right eye. If I closed by of my eyes, I could see a small greyish green circle in my right eye that would start to fade. If I only kept my right eye open, I could tell that everything was becoming greyed/washed out. I use computer monitors every day for my job, so I started to think my eyesight must be going bad. I also thought that maybe I was just tired and I needed some rest.
Two days later, I noticed that, along with the greyish green circle, my vision was also completely blurry in that same area. I was looking at different objects in my house and would notice that I couldn’t tell that object was even there when only looking out of my right eye. This, of course, started to worry me. I talked with my family about this, and they recommended that I stop at America’s Best (a contact/glass company that does eye testing) to get my eyes looked at.

As a few of you may know, there has been a big sudden change in my life. Although I still feel it is a dream and I don’t want to accept it, reality does start to set in after awhile. During this post, I will not come out exactly and say what is happening, but please be sure that I am OK.

Over the years post high school, I go back and forth on my weight. I will get to a point we’re I am just no happy nor comfortable with the shape of my figure. I also start to lose the weight, but once I get to a certain point, I stop and start to eventually gain it all back.

Netflix Black Mirror: Season 4
Netflix is bringing Season 4 of Black Mirror to us, and it looks awesome. This season isn’t changing its core tridition of being compelling. If you haven’t watched Black Mirror before… This is a show about how future technologies can benefit/harm humans. This show has a very interesting twist on how a cool piece of tech can actually ruin your life. If you haven’t seen the trailer for Season 4 yet, checkout the video below.

Glimpse Into My Life… Pt. 20
When the iPhone 4 was announced, I was totally excited to soon upgrade to this device. I was still using an iPhone 3G as I skipped on upgrading to the iPhone 3GS. This iPhone, now being an all time favorite of iPhone owners, was mocked and made fun of for its design in the beginning.
My father and I wanted to upgrade to this device. We decided, for a first, to camp out at our local Apple Store so we could get our hands on this new device on launch day. Â We made plans, a few days prior, to make sure we would be some of the first customers in line.
My father was a truck driver and just got off his shift (12 hours) and home around 10PM the night before. I worked as a manager at a grocery store and worked 10-8PM that day. Â We met up at his house at 11PM and took off to the Apple Store. We arrived there just before midnight.
Quick Update…
Never under estimate making a podcast. Seriously. I’ve been writing a script to follow for this first podcast. I know a month ago I was going to get this started. And started I have… but there is more work getting this first podcast produced than I thought.
First things first…
I should have the first one up in under two weeks. I have this goal set and I’m going to start recording it tomorrow.
The podcast will be mainly about a topic I love. The topic will be technology. However, I am adding in my own life experiences too to make this different than the other tech podcast out there.
I also will be talking about my thoughts and my opinions on this. I have a goal in mind, and I do hope that everyone enjoys what I’m going to be making.
