Glimpse Into My Life… Pt. 21

This will be a hard one to write…

As a few of you may know, there has been a big sudden change in my life. Although I still feel it is a dream and I don’t want to accept it, reality does start to set in after awhile. During this post, I will not come out exactly and say what is happening, but please be sure that I am OK.

Life is rough when it wants to be. I am usually always a happy person with a big heart. You can usually always find me smiling and enjoying life wherever I am. About two weeks before Christmas, my heart stopped. Or maybe, I was just dreaming and I can’t find a way to wake up. Life as I knew it, just did a 180 on me, and I didn’t know how to flip it back. I cried, I meditated, and then I knew what lead to this sudden change.

Many people go through their life never truly understanding what it is like to find someone that truly cares for them and has love for them. The few that do are usually considered the lucky ones. Or soulmates. Or blessed. However you want to word it, you know when you have found that special someone. That person that can make you always have a better day. That person that makes you smile and laugh. That person that you would like to wake up next to for the rest of your life. That person that you were never looking for, but your heart just was like: “Oh, there you are!”.

I am currently living with some family as I am going through my current change. Some days, not going to lie, are very hard while other days are OK. I am thankful for my family for allowing me to stay at their place as I refocus and get back on track. However, the more that I refocus, the more time I spend thinking about how to change things back and for the better.

As I mentioned in my last post, An Update…, things have changed in my life. These changes are not all for the better, but I am trying to make everything worth it. I’m coping, I’m understanding, and I’m trying to make things work. For better or worse, I’m not giving up easily. But just like the image says at the top, sometimes the mind already knows what the heart hasn’t accepted yet. Or maybe, the heart is stronger than the mind and doesn’t give up as easily.

This year will definitely be an interesting one. If I can give any advise about love, this would be it: If you love someone, make sure they know they are love and know they are appreciated. Make sure you are caring for them, listening to them, and spending time with them. Make sure that you are doing the little things. Trust me, the little things are noticed. Always tell them that you love them and always tell them how beautiful/handsome they are.

An Update…

Hello Followers:

I do apologize for my absence the last many months.  With the my newest job, life changes, Holidays, and other events, I have been very busy.  Here are a few things to expect coming from me and the site for 2018…

Podcast…

Where are these podcast that you keep mentioning?  Well, they are coming still.  I realized the equipment that I had wasn’t going to work.  More so, my microphone that I had wasn’t picking up the audio that was need.  So, I had to get a new Mic.

And that I did…  I know own a Blue Yeti (blackout edition) microphone, and this thing rocks.  I’ve been testing it for sound quality over the past week and I’m loving what I am hearing from it.

I need a few more things to get this off the ground.  I know we are past 6+ months now from the day I mentioned this, but good things are coming.

Website…

Not too much will change with the blog, as far as looks, but I will be able to start posting more entries.  Over the past month, some things have changed in my life and now I have more spare time.  This is allowing me to focus on projects that I have been putting off.

You soon will see a new front page layout that I’m creating at the moment.  You will see this page when you first make your way to my site.  If you always go straight to the Blog post, you may want to click on Home soon to get a look at the introduction page.  It is live now, but it will start to change in the coming weeks as I start to update it more.

Goals For 2018…

I don’t like to make New Year’s Resolutions, however; I do like to make new goals each year to try to tackle.  A few of these things are:

  • Fitness Goals
    • Get myself back down to a healthy weight and start to focus on healthier goals.
  • Personal Life
    • Be more mindful of what my surrounds are, be more open-minded about what is happening around me, and focus on things that matter most in my life (Family, Friends, Love).
  • Blog
    • Continue to make post that keep my visitors interested and wanting to come back to read more.
    • Get the podcast off and running and turn this into a weekly or more frequent show

I Want To Hear From You More…

I want to interact with all of you.  If you like a post, please like it.  If you have a thought or opinion or question, please post it.  If you have a personal question that you don’t want everyone to see, please go to the Contact page and fill it out.  I will get an email with your answer.

Also, as always, you can follow me on just about all the popular Social Media sites by looking for robert1ee. You can send me your questions there as well.

I am looking forward to what 2018 will bring to our lives.  Here is to wishing you all a great and blessed New Year.

Motivation To Be Fit

Over the years post high school, I go back and forth on my weight. I will get to a point we’re I am just no happy nor comfortable with the shape of my figure. I also start to lose the weight, but once I get to a certain point, I stop and start to eventually gain it all back.

We have all been there…

Starting a workout routine is like starting a new job some place. You are excited to start this new eventure and see where it takes you. You are nervous because you are unsure if you’ll like it, but you need this in your life. Once you are there for a few months, you are shocked by how much time has passed and how good you’ve become.

My problem is, once I get to a certain point, I get bored. I know my figure will never look like it did back in my track and field days. I was fit. I felt great about myself. When looking in the mirror, after several months of working out, I just don’t see the results fast enough. Or, I simply become bored and find other things that peak my interest more.

Motivation…

This is what is needed to keep yourself involved. This is what you need to keep yourself moving towards your end goal. Unfortunately, I tend to start to loose this motivation.

Need Some Motivation…

What keeps you motivated?

What routines have worked for you?

What have you done to change your life to get yourself into a healthy lifestyle?

Struggling…

I need some motivation, now more than ever, to get myself back on a healthy routine. I work from home and have many workout programs in my DVD collection. I just, for the life of me, can not figure out how to jump start this routine.

Any suggestions and/or advise would be greatful.

Please comment and let me know what keeps you motivated and what you have found works best for you.

I have been taking their products just over a month now, and the results have been amazing. The Super HD gives me much needed energy and focus. They also definitely help with appetite control.  I have found myself eating smaller portions and eating more than just three meals a day.  I have also noticed my waist slimming and toning.

The CLK is the amazing sidekick.  CLK really helps with the toning of my over-all body.  I have noticed muscle gain in the legs, arms, chest, and back.  Taking this with regular exercise and weight training, has really help boost my results.

What work for you?  What do you like to take to boost your training?

New Year, New Goals…

Dear Readers:

I know I haven’t been staying up-to-date on my blog.  A few things in life has changed over the past few months, and it has made it difficult to have a few moments to keep this blog updated.

What’s changed: A new career path.  I finally left a job that I didn’t feel appreciated at… or rather… a job that I felt was becoming routine and doing a position that I wasn’t hired to do.  I am now working for AT&T.  This is a big move, but a very good move, for me.  I have always enjoyed electronics, especially mobile electronics, and now I can help customers with theirs.

For this new year, I have decided to make some goals… as I don’t believe in resolutions, I believe in making goals.  Below will be a list of goals that I would like to accomplish this year… we will call it… hmmm… let’s say: “The 2014 Bucket” goals list.  I’m going to focus on a lot of miner things, as one major goal will be harder to approach.  So here it is…

  1. Exercise.  I am currently weighing 204.  I want to be around 190-200, with less than 13% body fat.  I am around 25-30% body fat now.
  2. Read.  I currently read a lot of tech information online, and I stay up-to-date with politics, however; I don’t get the chance to read many books.  I would like to change that this year.  I am going to try to shoot for a book every two months (a small goal of 6 books this year, but it gives me a starting point), and also continue reading my tech/politics news too.
  3. Anger Management.  I feel that I can get snappy at times.  I do know that I am hard-headed, and I can be stubborn at times… This year I am going to focus on taking a deep breath and find a solution to the problem before freaking out.  Over the years, I have gotten better, but I still find myself get angry at times.
  4. Eating Habits.  (this goes with exercise) I need to start eating healthier.  I have noticed myself stopping at McDonalds more frequently, and eating unhealthy food sold at the mall.  I need to get myself back on fruit/vegetables, and I need to start eating smaller meals throughout the day.
  5. Thoughts. I feel this goes with Anger Management.  I need to start sharing my thoughts on my blog more.  This blog allows me to share my opinions and to talk about my life’s events.  Sharing is a great way to decrease the stress in your life.
  6. Lastly… I want to be the man that my future Mrs. deserves.  I want to be a man that she can count on and will come through for her.

I will look at these goals again mid-year and at the end of the year.  If you have any tricks or tips, or would just like to give some words of encouragement, I would appreciate it

A Glimpse Into My Life… Pt. XIX

As I look back over my past two years… There has been many people that have come into my life.  Many, of which, have come into my life in a positive way.  About two years ago, I reconnected with my best friend that I lost contact with because of my past marriage.  We had a lot of catching up to do, and we had to rebuild our friendship.  I was happy that she accepted me back into her life, because I definitely didn’t deserve it.

We went to a Lil Wayne concert together and she introduce me to two amazing women that I have become close with over the past two years: Tiffany and Shannon.  These two ladies got me out of the house and put me back into the social world.  From there, I have met many new friends.  Most, of which, are very close to my heart. If it wasn’t for these new people in my life, I don’t know where my life would be right now.  They helped me build a foundation in my life.  They helped me grow confidence in myself.  They helped bring happiness back into my life.

From meeting Tiffany and Shannon, I have meet two guys that I find cool as hell: Aaron and Jordan.  Though we might not always agree on everything, we all still enjoy each others company.  Partying with these two guys and the ladies always bring out good times.  Many memories come from many late Saturday night hangouts.

I feel I have lost connections with my friends.  One for reasons I don’t understand, and others for reasons of me not being able to get out and hang with them.  In other words, I need to step up and be there for my friends as they have stepped up and were there for me.  There is a big event coming up in two weeks… and it is going to be an awesome night.  This will be one for the memory books.

To all my friends that are close to me… I am sorry if I have been distant.  I have some areas of life that I do need to improve on, and I just want to let you know that you still have a friend here… I just hope I haven’t caused too much damage already.

Love everyone…
